We chose this trip as we wanted to visit the UK. We initially booked this trip in late 2019 for an April 2020 departure. This, of course, got cancelled due to COVID. We were offered our money back or a 25% upgrade if we let it ride. This allowed us to upgrade our cabin and our airfare.
Viking took care of us every step of the way. They ushered us and our luggage to and from each airport and helped us get the luggage checked in an expedited fashion.
Viking provided a menu of excursions at each port. The cruise director provided a daily "Port Call" meeting to describe the excursions planned for the following day. These meetings were very informative and valuable in choosing what to do the next day.
The cabin was very spacious and had two large flat screen TVs, one in the bedroom and the other in the sitting room. There is a curtain that can be used to separate the two rooms if needed. Our cabin steward was excellent and provided great service.
