My wife and I had wanted to do a German river cruise for sometime. We purchased during a sale period. We were excited to do the optional extensions on either side of the cruise, Nuremberg and Budapest. Viking made it very easy to add these and took great care of us while we were off the ship. The concierge desks at the hotels were a great help to us as were the included walking tours. The food and accomodations on the Atla were fantastic. Our cabin was comfortable and clean. Each meal was excellent and had several options to choose from. We found ourselves usually going for the local specials menu rather than the always-available options. The excursions we're great. We particularly enjoyed the I clouded walking tours, but we did our fair share of additional excursions, including the one to Bratislava. That excursion was extremely interesting and well worth the time and money. I cannot recommend this cruise and cruise line enough!

Cabin Review

Veranda Stateroom

The cabin was nice. It was a cabin with a glass door, though not a balcony, so it was nice to open the door and relax while sailing. The bed was comfortable and cleaned nicely.
