Our trip to Normandy was the highlight of this trip. The American Cemetery is inspirational and a tremendous reminder of the many who gave their all. After viewing the cemetery and attending a small ceremony to present a wreath, we entered the museum where we found a large computer screen. We were able to enter the name of a young man who had dated our aunt. This young man was memorialized as one lost when his ship was lost at sea. Although we never met him, we have some of his amazing artwork that she had. Finding the name of someone from our hometown with the family connection was truly awesome.

Our weather was not the best during our cruise, but that didn't stop us from experiencing beautiful tours. I personally loved LesAndeles because I found an amazing linens gift shop and was able to find treasures for some of the folks back home. I loved this small walkable town.

We attended an onboard watercolor painting class and although our attempt was amateur at best, we really enjoyed the afternoon.
