The new ship was lovely, the food very good with (too much) abundance. The wait/bar staff were so accommodating, remembered what we drank, etc. They were lovely about serving lunch also in the lounge are as we had so few people. The tour director, the hardworking staff, from every job, housekeeping, front desk, dining, check in & off ship, was a joy. No complaints there.

The Elbe left some vistas to be desired, usually a muddy bank to see, but once docked & off the ship, the tours were interesting. We had enough free time both on & off the ship.

I want to travel with Viking again as they took such good care of us all along the way. We were met at the airport, shuttled to our hotel & checked in. But the most important was our departure, our precious director met us at 2:45 AM, put us into our transportation to the airport. Once there we were met again by one of our previous guides who sat & chatted with us until they called our plane…. All in German, but Martin directed us all they way, until he could go no further! Little things like that make Viking out standing! I can’t wait to travel with them again!!
