After 5 Viking river cruises, we were ready to try an ocean cruise. Alaska has always been on our bucket list, as was the Rocky Mountaineer. We decided to combine the two, with a post trip in Denali National Park. It just ticked so many boxes.

We had spectacular weather and that made everything even better. We got to see the Glacier Bay glacier, which was pretty unique. Every shore excursion that we registered for was exemplary. Saxman Village; kayaking in the ocean from Sitka; photo safari to the Mendenhall Glacier lookout; whale watching ; the scenic vintage train voyage in Skagway; -every one was a magnificent experience. We came home with fantastic memories.

The spa on board was so luxurious. We enjoyed massages and facials. They were top notch treatments.

Cabin Review

Our cabin was very comfortable. We enjoyed having the chesterfield, chair and coffee table area. We also made good use of our balcony.
