We received a pamphlet in the mail and had heard good things about Viking. Our travel agent coordinated everything and it all ran smoothly. We had been booked for April/20, but rebooked for April/21 then it was finally a go in 2022. Viking gave us plenty of incentive to keep rebooking. From the time we boarded, attention to detail was evident. We always knew where we had to be. Staff was warm and welcoming as well as very efficient. Special mention for David, our program director and Carla, server and bartender. We enjoyed the entertainment on board. Initially we thought we wouldn’t be participating in all the included tours but found them to be so informative and fun, we didn’t miss any. Food was excellent, we highly recommend the Silver Package for drinks!

For anyone thinking of booking a river cruise, this is the way to go. We felt part of everyday life in the towns we were visiting.

Would love our next one to be in France - Normandy, Juno etc. Will definitely start planning this one for 2024! Thank you.
