Sail Date: May 2022

Wife is part Hungarian and we were both curious about that part of the world. First the positives… the food, tour guides and ship staff were all First Class and COVID guidelines were not over-the-top. Negatives… we booked several excursions and tried to find information about them once we were on the ship. Nothing on Viking’s site. I had to go to Trip Advisor to find information about Operation Anthropoid and Kutna Hora (wife booked everything and once cruise begins, you lose access to MyViking Journey). Besides that, ship needed some maintenance and was dry docked for 4 hrs. Remaining on the ship meant no electricity for the duration or toilet in stateroom. No compensation was offered, not even a drink. Lastly, not a criticism of Viking but, our French Balcony Stateroom felt like a phone booth. If I was seated at the counter by the foot of the bed, she would have to climb over the bed to get to the door or bathroom. Look at the floor plan before you book.

Cabin Review

Too small.
