We wanted to get away to somewhere warmer that was closer than an overseas cruise. We had an amazing experience; we hadn’t realized how much we missed traveling! The Viking Sea was at 1/3 capacity which was a treat & as usual, the Viking experience was top-notch. We realize the ships will be getting fuller but it was a nice way to ease back into traveling/cruising. Viking’s testing protocols were thorough & we felt safe with them in place. We were able to participate in all our scheduled excursions as well as all activities on board. We learned a lot about the West Indies & its history and participated in a Privileged Access excursion which was well worth it. Overall, we’re very glad we went even though it was somewhat stressful preparing to go with COVID in the picture; this is lessening now which will help with future traveling. We’ve booked another Viking cruise to the Panama Canal in February 2023 - looking forward to it!
