We wanted to see ancient ruins in Greece and Turkey and we saw a lot of them. We visited Troy and Ephesus among other ports (6 ports in all). The excursions were handled well. We used quiet boxes and they worked great. We didn't feel crowded on the ship. We ate in the dining room every night and usually had a window table. The food and the selections were wonderful. It would be nice if the dining room was open earlier for breakfast so that those going on excursions at 9 AM could eat a full breakfast before going out. We found a little bar that served coffee, juice and sweet rolls which were very good and quite adequate. We're going on another Viking cruise in late July and can't wait. We think Viking does a splendid job of everything from getting you to and from the airport, excursions, dining and entertainment.
A typical stateroom. Clean. Comfortable. Enough room to move around.
