Sail Date: Dec 2021

This was an itinerary we had wanted and was rescheduled from 2020. Viking handled the cruise well with the hassles coming from Argentina and Chile. The staff to passenger ratio was very high due to many cancellations which made it seem like a much smaller ship than if it were at capacity. We had the Rio/Iguassu Falls extension which was handled extremely well. We were placed in a nice hotel in Buenos Iris and had two well planned days there before boarding the ship which was delayed by Argentina because it had been of the Coast of South Africa (didn't land anywhere). There was confusion at some of the ports because Chile and Argentina had not had a cruise ship before the start of the pandemic.

The excursions were handled well with beautiful scenery. We would recommend this itinerary completely. The Falkland Islands were missed due to their imposed quarantine.
