This was our first Viking cruise and all I can say is that the bar has been set to high!

We cannot find a thing to complain about. Everything was just perfect. We loved our cabin, 5057, mid ship, category DV2. Our cabin stewards were excellent and we barely saw them as they seemed to slip in and out without us noticing. The cabin was very well appointed, loved the toiletries, great hairdryer, lots of coathangers, comfortable bed, well stocked mini fridge, good quality bedlinen and towels(changed twice a day)!

The food on the ship was faultless. We managed to eat in every venue apart from the Chef’s Table as the menu was too fishy for us, and we loved it all. The World Cafe was great with lots of choice and everything was so well presented. One of our favourite meals was here when we had a truffle risotto, brought to our table by the chef, followed by a lovely Chinese chicken dish. We found the Silver Spirits drinks package to be great value and we enjoyed the upgraded wines at dinner. Of course Mamsen’s waffles lived up to the hype, they were delicious. Read more
