This was our first river cruise and we’re hooked. The Kara was well maintained and common areas were spotless. The excursions were well organized with a great mix of guided tours, historical information and we’re conducted by charming local guides. We went to cathedrals, the Black Forest, and vineyards. We especially enjoyed the beer house excursion which was great fun and gave us a real insight into the local culture. We also appreciated the opportunities for personal exploration. The onboard service was impeccable; the staff were beyond helpful and went out of their way to ensure that our every need was met. The cuisine was delightful with choices to accommodate every palate and wine choices were perfect. The service to and from airports was flawless.

We’re planning other trips with friends and family. This was a completely beautiful experience where we really didn’t have to worry about anything. What a great time!
