This was our first experience with Viking. It was wonderful. A great way to explore Central Europe. The food was unbelievable. The tours and cultural experiences were over the top. Something for everyone. We have always appreciated classical music experiences. Sitting in on an intimate concert with the world famous Vienna Boys Choir was unreal. There were just forty guests in a beautiful palace concert hall. Unbelievably beautiful. Later in the week, we attended a church organ concert in Passau featuring the world's largest pipe organ. Lots and lots of wonderful memories. The only issues was on our trip back to the states. Viking arranged for all of our transportation and airfares. However, for our return to Philadelphia, we had to leave the ship in Germany at 2:45 AM. Which would have been OK if we didnt have to wait for over an hour at the Munich airport. We arrived to find that the check in area wasn't yet opened. We had to wait 90 minutes for the windows to open up. Viking should have known this. Even though we were new to travelling in Europe, this was not Viking's first rodeo. With such a long a flight ahead of us, it would have been nicer if we had a little more sleep time before the home journey began.
