I chose Viking due to its itinerary and the the positive feedback that I heard . The overall experience was superb starting with booking with Riley, the Viking representative.The Viking rep in Lucerne on our pre cruise was also very helpful . The Schweizerhof Hotel was the best, centrally located and very clean. The boat experience was beyond satisfying. The chef ,Rene did above and beyond to accommodate our palate.The crews including the activities director, Angela were very accommodating.Not so much good experience with the post cruise in Amsterdam. The Movenpick Hotel didn't look and feel clean.It's not centrally located with no descent restaurant nearby. The Viking rep were not very organized and was in total chaos upon our arrival.The hotel was not even ready to check in until 6pm after I voiced my complaints.There's not even a free water bottle in the room. I will not recommend this hotel for post cruise much more pre cruise. Other than that Viking experience was topnatched and will book for another one in the near future.
