We choose this itinerary because we desperately wanted to go on a cruise, but we wanted to avoid the stress of cruising in Europe with the ever present fear of being quarantined. For us, on this cruise, the ship was the destination, and we were not at all disappointed. The ship was beautiful, the crew were all amazing, and our cabin was perfect. The food that we had onboard was all wonderful, and the level of service of the crew in the lounges was superb. Going to Explorers lounge became our nightly predinner routine because Allen, who was the vocalist in the lounge, was just wonderful. The staff at the Restaurant were all fabulous, and more than attentive.

We did miss two ports on our itinerary due to bad weather. But, for the ports that we were able to visit, the guides on the included tours were very professional and knowledgeable.

We do wish that the band had started playing earlier in Torshavn each night. They generally didn't begin until 9:30 or 9:45 pm. Read more
