I am going to write a detailed review of the Alaska inside passage cruise from Seattle back to Seattle. Dates were June 13th to 20th. The review will be broken into 2 parts. Part 1 will be breakup of the different buckets in the cruise and part 2 will be port by port summary.
Background
We are from India and were traveling in a group of 5. My parents who are 73 and 70 respectively, my wife (35), my daughter (8) and me (37). So we had a diverse age group. I did a lot of research and read up on the big cruise lines: Royal Carribean, Holland, Princess and NCL. We were down to 2: Holland America's Oosterdam or NCL Pearl. 2 things made us choose NCL over HA. One was that HA has a very mature age group, typically 50 and above and they dont have much for kids or even adults like us. Two, we are vegetarians and NCL was much more clear about the different veggie food options they could provide on the cruise.
Cabin 11628 and 11630 port side aft cabins. Good size, great view easy access to elevators. Only one floor below garden cafe, kids club, pool.
