This wonderful Viking cruise was over Christmas and New Year's. We began by sailing down the west coast of Italy down the Amalfi coast to Sicily. The people on the Sky were wonderful. The ship was decorated beautifully with Christmas trees, gingerbread houses, sparkling lights and all. Then we sailed to Greek islands and Athens and Ephesus and Turkish delights. It was a trip of a lifetime. My husband and I will never forget the spectacular Greek and Roman ruins! The trip ended in Istanbul, Turkey. I had never been there and I must admit I was a bit leary. But it was wonderful. It was so clean and friendly and they were so careful about COVID restrictions. In fact, the Viking Sky was so careful about COVID, testing everyone on board every morning to make sure we were all healthy. I could not recommend this ship and the cruise more highly.
