We were originally scheduled for the Danube Waltz cruise, but the pandemic and other factors led us to change to an Alaska cruise. This was our first Viking cruise and we found it to be beyond our expectations. Staff, crew, accommodations were superb. We felt pampered and made friends with other passengers as well as our room steward and wait staff.

Shore excursions were handled efficiently and gracefully. We enjoyed onboard amenities such as interesting lectures, entertainment and fine dining.

We particularly loved the White Pass and Yukon Railway. The onboard commentator was so in love with his subject. It was apparent he had done his homework. Another highlight was the bus tour from Valdez to Thompson Pass. It was a wonderland of snow and mountains.

Cabin Review

Comfortable, clean, great view, quiet.
