I always wanted to take a river cruise, and so I booked us for an end to Covid cruise. Dealing with Viking was easy. Our only problem was trying to get the flight information straightened out. We were on a Delta flight but we were not listed with Delta. After quite a bit of angst, we discovered Delta had put us on an Air France flight. OK. That gave us the needed information, namely what terminal our flight left from. JFK is a large airport.

Our adventure went smoothly from here. The staff on board were the absolute best. Always polite and accommodating, they went out of their way to assist. The ship was beautiful, and although our weather was not so beautiful, every minute aboard and off the ship was enjoyable. Quietly sailing or busily doing walking tours in the rain, made us appreciate the people, the scenery, and the wonderful old world charm of the cities and villages. This was truly a "bucket list" trip.

Cabin Review

Our cabin was beautiful. The furnishings were comfortable and there was more than enough storage space for clothes, coats and luggage. It was not balcony type weather, so our sliding window wall was the best.
