The trip was chosen because of Viking's excellent reputation for quality which was certainly borne out on board. The ship and all the facilities were all absolutely immaculate and served by a most professional and friendly crew who could not do enough for you to make you welcome. The restaurants provided an excellent choice of really superb quality meals and again, beautifully served. Booking restaurants was simple and always a friendly welcome. The in-cabin screen was top notch and allowed access to all the news, music an on-board information and the WiFi was also good. On board entertainment was generally excellent with only one rather mediocre evening (maybe not to my taste)> This was my first cruise on a sole basis and my only disappointment was that no provision was made for this. A simple get-together each evening at a specific bar and then pre-booked tables at a restaurant so that no-one ate alone who did not choose to, would have made all the difference. I hope that Viking will take this comment on board as it make such a difference to the enjoyment of a cruise. I would look forward to hearing back from them on this.

The itinerary was great - visiting s number of islands with a wide choice of activities and excursions at each place. . The organisation of all of this was really excellent, imaginatively put together and most efficiently executed.

The overall standard of all aspects of the cruise was absolutely fantastic and sets the standard that others will strive to get near but not achieve. The quality and training of all the crew members was first class and the training programme to achieve this level must be really excellent and the end result speaks for itself.
