Excellent trip, accommodations were great and the dining was exceptional. The Chef's Table and Manfredi's dinners were excellent; the dinners at the Restaurant were very good. Having real good weather during the cruise was a bonus - we were very fortunate to take in all of the great views.

The excursions were a mixed bag, in the sense that some expectations were not met. For example, we were led to believe that the Skagway city tour would include a visit to White Pass, but that never happened without explanation. Also, it is important that the meeting time info in the Viking Daily matches what is on the TV. We almost missed going on the chopper flight to do dogsledding, because the TV said 12:45, the Daily had 12:30 - we assumed it as 12:45.

Despite those issues, the kayaking trip was excellent - Sitka Adventures did a great job providing an enjoyable experience.

Cabin Review
