My wife and I wanted to return to some of the places we had visited when we lived in Oslo in the early 1980s. This cruise gave us that opportunity at a reasonable price with great tours, lectures, entertainment and eating included. The onboard opportunities added substantially to the tours and events during excursions. Of particular interest were the lectures presented on aspects of Viking culture and heritage. The entertainment was first rate. The piano and violin/viola performances in the atrium were particularly nice. The choice and quality of food available at each of the dining areas was generally exceptional. We were unable to enter port at Skagen due to adverse winds, but the required change in itinerary really worked to our advantage - we sailed up Oslofjord in daylight instead of darkness and the views were excellent. Thanks from both of us to the Viking Jupiter crew and staff for an exceptional cruise..

Cabin Review

Cabin was one of the smaller styles , but had a nice veranda and was quite comfortable. The shower/washroom was particularly spacious compared to these facilities on other cruise lines. The cabin staff was excellent.
