This was our first ocean cruise. We are very satisfied with the ports that we docked in and the excursions that were offered. We enjoyed several purchased excursions also. We are dissapointed the we could not visit St Petersburg, Russia. But we understand taking St Petersburg and Helsinki off of the itinerary. We are hoping that a future will hold a time that we may all safely travel to Russia again. Sadly 2 of our self chosen/purchased excursions were listed as SOLD OUT when they were actually canceled. We did find something else to do in that port. The one thought that we had was; possibly spending more than one day in all ports to expanding to 2 days and seeing fewer ports/cities.Viking has had to deal with so much changing information and fluxuations in health regulations this year all over their cruising agendas. We are grateful that we have been able to travel again. We thank Viking for all the efforts and all the attetion that they are giving to their customers and guests. We felt comfortable, cared for, and treasured by the staff and crew on the Venus.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Veranda Stateroom

Our cabin was clean, well kept by our steward and team. It was a nice size as we didn't spend much time in the cabin. But we might upgrade to a larger one when we sail on an ocean ship again. We were able to access all areas of the ship comfortably.
