Pre-Covid we traveled with Viking River to Russia & China. Very satisfied with both ships, itinerary, food, excursions, shopping etc. When Viking Ocean brochure arrived, we were mesmerized with the different trips & chose The British Isles with an extension to Oslo. It was a fabulous trip. Food was excellent in the main dining room & specialty restaurants. Staff extremely attentive. Great facilities onboard- nice spa, exercise room & sauna with cold plunge. Entertainment was delightful…who could resist a Beatles evening while docked in Liverpool or an ABBA night in Bergen. Coupled with some wonderful Opera & a classical duet each day (piano & violin), it made for some enjoyable evenings. Overall, the staff was attentive, concerned to please with every aspect of our trip.Daily Covid testing was no hassle. It proceeded seamlessly. All in all, kudos to the Captain, Cruise Director & their wonderfully dedicated staff.

PS. The size of the ship is perfect. Not too crowded, easy on & off, no real waiting.
