We had wanted to visit the Bordeaux area for some time and the improving Covid pandemic gave us the opportunity. The cruise was a round trip starting and ending in Bordeaux but you visited various cities on the three rivers that comprise the area. We gained more knowledge about the wines of the region. The highlight of the trip was a dinner with wine at a Chateaux from the 1700's where the ship's staff surprised us by bringing all the food and settings to prepare and serve the dinner there. The food and wine were excellent, not only at this dinner but on board as well. Covid precautions on the ship gave us a feeling of security. The crew, staff and passengers were all diligent in taking precautions and wearing face masks when required. Daily Covid testing was done and we even received results the evening before disembarkation to allow us reentry into the U.S.

Cabin Review

French Balcony

The cabin was certainly adequate for our needs and the French Balcony allowed us a good view of the passing scenery while cruising.
