My husband has always wanted to cruise to Norway and see the fjords. We loved the trip and would go to Norway again. It was beautiful and we had great albeit somewhat cool weather. The food on Viking was phenomenal and everything on the cruise was well organized. There were no lines or waiting for anything from when we embarked the ship in Amsterdam until we disembarked in Bergen. We have been on other cruise lines and everything seems crowded. The service was top notch.Pool chairs and loungers throughout the ship were available. It would have been better if the weather was just a bit warmer so we could’ve enjoyed more time outside on the decks. I enjoyed the entertainment especially the guitarist, however compared to the larger cruises we have been on the entertainment has less to offer(no comediennes or big theatrical performances)There is also no casino. If you are looking for a wild late night party cruise this is not for you. We enjoyed the excellent service, the lack of chaos and crowds and outstanding food. Viking did it’s best to allow you to really experience Norway. We would really recommend the cruise to Pulpit Rock. It was not a free excursion, but on the clear day we had was spectacular.

Cabin Review

Large and comfortable cabin. Steward was always available and attentive. They tried to think of everything from binoculars, a stocked refrigerator that was refilled daily, to complimentary laundry service. We had several breakfasts in the cabin.
