This was a fascinating and wonderful trip in Egypt and Jordan with Viking River cruises. The entire itinerary was world class. Great hotels, ship, guides, staff and sightseeing. The guide (Ahmed) was one of the best guides we have had in 40+ years of traveling. This really made the trip an unbelievable experience. I had no idea we would get to go inside a pyramid and then later see King Tut himself in his burial tomb. The ship was beautiful and the staff on it could not have been nicer to us. Very attentive to our needs and desires. Highly recommend the Jordan extension. We swam in the Dead Sea and covered ourselves in mud. Petra was a remarkable experience. It is one of the 7 Wonders of the World. Our hotels continued to be work d class on this extension.
