This was the third leg of the Ultimate France tour, and it was very enjoyable. The ports visited were all interesting, and the tours were well planned and well organized. On any tours with significant walking, the tour manager organized a "gentle walking" group to accommodate those who might need a slower speed, allowing the other groups to do more. The food was excellent throughout the trip, and the wine choices were good as well. We also found that if one of us did not like the standard wine choices at dinner, another option could always be found. The flexibility in service was excellent, with every effort made to accommodate any special requests. The energy of our tour manager was exceptional, and the officers and crew showed enthusiasm and care throughout. We have now spent about six weeks cruising with Uniworld, and we cannot imagine a higher level of professional and able service.

I would also note that my wife needed to complete one additional day of Covid isolation when we boarded. Instead of forcing me to continue to quarantine (I had already again tested negative), the hotel manager offered me a separate cabin for however many days it took to clear my wife for normal activity, and at no extra charge. The same was done for another couple in a like situation. They obviously did not have to do this, but we really felt Uniworld's sincere effort to make our experience as good as it could possibly be.
