Length of cruise along with the itinerary was on our bucket list. We loved Amsterdam and our side trip to Brugge as well as Delft. Food was very good both on the ship and off the ship. Loved meeting new people and the friendliness of the people of the Netherlands was also a plus.

We enjoyed walking all parts of Amsterdam and our Hotel was in a good location on the water and near the main train station.

We did our own pre extension as the Viking pre was sold out but it was not difficult to do things on our own and we found it helpful to a degree to be staying at the same hotel as the Viking pre. Taking a taxi from the airport and also to where the ship was docked were easy to do and surprisingly reasonably priced.

Veranda Suite

We had a Suite and it suited our needs as my husband loves to watch TV and I prefer to read after a day of sightseeing. Laundry service was outstanding. As I do not wish my clothes put in the dryer they came back on hangers and or folded. Captain and crew were very available to answer questions and our Cruise Director along with General Manager made our trip a total success. The fact that we tested negative daily for our Covid test certainly was a highlight.

Amsterdam

We LOVED Amsterdam. The walking is fantastic, food very good and so many choices 2 days were not enough.
