We chose this tour because the itinerary appealed to us. The entire cruise far exceeded our expectations. We give superlative reviews to the accommodations, the food and the excursions. Viking’s attention to the fine details is to be commended. We felt quite pampered during the entire trip. The cost of the tour may be more than the average cruise, but then, this was definitely not your average cruise!

Our pre cruise extension in Prague turned out to be a high point of the trip. The city is lovely and easy to navigate. The hotel was beautiful and centrally located. The breakfast was excellent and very generous. The Viking liaison at the front desk was a great resource and very helpful!

Our post cruise extension in Amsterdam was not nearly as enjoyable as Prague for several reasons. The hotel was not centrally located, the Viking liaison was not very helpful and the weather was cold, cloudy and blustery. We were sad that the trip had to end on a sour note and yet it did not come close to ruining an overall wonderful experience. I think we were having to deal with the fact that we were no longer being pampered by the ship’s staff! Kudos to the Viking organization for providing us with the vacation of a lifetime!

Cabin Review

Deluxe Stateroom

It was a small cabin but definitely enough room to manage. Loved the “duck view” porthole. I took what was probably my favorite photo of the trip right from that cabin porthole!
