sailed on the glory out of NY on 6/19. We usually sail ROYAL and can I tell you we were very pleased with Carnival. Traveling with 20, 17, and 12 year old. Had one outside balcony 6424 and one outside w/o balcony 1327. Plenty of room and storage in both cabins. Ship was clean and crew was friendly and helpful. Food was good but not GREAT...now the fish in chips was GREAT fried oysters and calamari the best! it is upstairs in the buffet area, is a quiet area, so if you luv fish go there. Comedy show R rated was the best...pass on the piano bar, he was not good but if u want to sleep go there right after dinner.

Ports were wonderful, we have been there before and halifax is beautiful. you can walk down the pier and go to the Maritime Museum, we liked it. No need to buy on board just go. This was out 3rd time at Halifax we went to the light house (peggys? cove the best ever) before.

St. Johns - everything is within walking distance so don't waste your $ on the pink bus. The only thing u can't walk to is the reversing falls and if you don't time it right you won't see it reverse....not worth it.
