Overall Experience We are a family group of 10 adults from upstate NY, Boston and RI and we had a wonderful vacation. The cruise allowed us to come together for dinner, drinks, music, trivia games, etc. and yet to do things on our own too. It was relaxing and fun and coming back to reality was very difficult.

Ship Overall the ship is lovely and in good condition, except for the air conditioning/ventilation system and the signage both of which are poor.

The public rooms, especially, were uncomfortably hot most of the time. Anytime a number of people congregated in one area, the temperature rose and the ventilation died. Trying to keep our male relatives in jacket and tie on formal nights was a losing battle - and I cannot blame them. It was miserably stuffy. The only really cool spot was Club Fusion, which for some reason was mostly under-used.

Adequate room for one person. Loved the balcony. Nice location half way between two elevator banks. I would have liked the closet area to be on the other side of the wall, in other words, facing the bed - would have saved lots of steps. I have a dream that someday I will find a hotel room or cabin with lighting on the sides of the mirrors instead of from the ceiling. Takes so much longer to put on make-up in a shadow. The refrigerator is wonderful, but the outer cabinet door traps the heat in the cabinet and makes the refrigerator much less efficient. My brother and sister and their spouses found their identical rooms small for two people and all their stuff. My thermostat did not work on the first day so that my room was uncomfortably hot most of the time. Somehow my steward got the AC working so that the room was comfortable for the rest of the cruise - wonderful man.
