Always heard wonderful things about Viking River Cruises in General, and the Bordeaux cruise put me close to the Dordogne, the section of France I never toured. Unfortunately I caught something on the plane coming over and I had limited energy for the excursions. Nevertheless we did go on some.The tour guides were really good! The food was even better, certainly there was enough! Way more than I should have eaten!! We made some friends aboard among the other passengers, and we look forward to seeing them again, if we can afford it. Although the value for the money was great, it was still a major investment for us.

George was an excellent host, he was always upbeat and personable. Crew members were all very kind and helpful. The wait staff was excellent.

The towns we saw were all revisitable places. I would like to go back to St. Emillion for a month or so. The walking tours were all quite easy, and the sights were fascinating.
