We took this cruise to fulfill a bucket list item. We committed a year prior to the cruise, and planned all the port explorations during that time. Covid was just beginning to lift, so there were many conflicting requirements between the airports, the airlines, the hotel and the cruise company. There were ample cruise staff to help interpret the requirements, and to get us through the ordeal. The international flights, while long, were managed very well. Representatives were at the airport to claim our bags, and whisk us off to our destination.

On-board, the staff was excellent. Our meals, room and entertainment were all first rate. Our shore excursions were all exceptional. The ambiance of the ship was very calming. We met so many wonderful people and shared some very fun experiences.

We left the ship knowing that we would definitely cruise Viking in the very near future. In fact, we will be taking a cruise to New Zealand before the year is over! We are so excited for this opportunity!
