We chose the Great Britain cruise because there were so many ports-of-call that were of interest. It was a great way to get a good taste or Great Britain, Ireland, Shetland Islands (part of Scotland) and Norway. The weather cooperated with us for the most part and did not put much of a damper on our visits. If one is reading this and you are sailing Viking for the first time, Viking is an absolute class act. The airport pickup at Heathrow ran like clockwork. Very well organized. The ship was beautiful and the crew from captain to steward, from cooks to maintenance are very well trained to provide the highest level of service. The food onboard was very good with many choices of where and what to eat. The entertainment was also excellent. Heather and Manny , cruise director and assistant cruise director respectively were wonderful surprises with their singing abilities. And our excursions were also very nicely executed. A fabulous trip that will not be forgotten. Next will be a river trip in France with Viking.
