Our Ancient Adriatic Treasures, Istanbul to Venice cruise was wonderful! Those two weeks have been some of the best experiences of our life. We took guided tours of the ancient Greco-Roman-Turkish ruins currently under excavation. We found these very interesting as we wanted to know more about the mythical era when Monsters wandered the earth, and the Gods were in direct contact with humans. The excavated remains reflected centuries of history, from classical Greece to the Roman and Turkish Empires, when it was the main trading centre in the Mediterranean, to the spread of Christianity.

Overall, the historical learning experience was outstanding, the on-board lectures and entertainment was beyond our expectation, the food was superb, and the service of the Viking staff was exceptional!

Viking Cruise can be assured that we will certainly continue to be Viking guests in the future. In fact, we have already booked our next cruise for 2023 Spring with Viking!
