Electric bike in Valdez.

Always wanted to see Alaska, and felt very comfortable with Viking's Covid protocols. I've done several longboat river cruises but was curious about the difference in quality with the (small) ships. I was even more impressed with the sense of intimacy and personal attention experienced on the ship! Having worked as an entertainer on large ships in the Caribbean in the 1980's, I was thoroughly impressed with the entertainment on this small ship! The food was always excellent and the ship's staff and crew were always attentive and accommodating. The onboard lectures and events were superior and geared toward discerning educated adults. Loved the 3-D PLANETARIUM! Largest pool had a retractable atrium ceiling. The weather was so beautiful that it was almost always open to the beautiful sky. The closing night event featured members of every department onboard, over 40 nationalities singing We Are The World. I actually cried, it was so moving.

Cabin Review

Excellent size, cleanliness, room service, stewards, soundproof, extremely comfortable. Large bathroom with heated floor!
