I have done this cruise before in December of 2011 for the Christmas markets. We had such a great experience that we wanted to do this cruise again in a different season. We were not disappointed. The excursions were just as enjoyable and the weather was perfect for those days that we were just sailing on the Rhine. Very relaxing! Highly recommend. Crew was professional and very personable. Our guided were extremely knowledgeable and it is obvious that they love what they are doing. One of our favorite excursions was our WW2 tour of Colmar. We loved visiting Amsterdam and we were able to take a canal cruise after we arrived. Covid testing was not a problem and was handled very professionally. Our cabin steward was very friendly and kept our cabin spotless. I have done 5 river cruises with Viking and am looking forward to booking my next one very soon.
