We had not intended to go on a sea cruise but the offer earlier this year was too good to refuse and we are so glad we said yes. Viking came up to all the superb standards that we have experienced on our river cruises and we loved every moment. We cannot fault anything from the restaurant service, to the bar service, to the quality of our stateroom, to the excellence of the entertainment, to the knowledge of the guides, to the high standards in all the public places, everything was great and we have nothing but praise for all the staff who helped us have such a wonderful holiday. It was also good that the weather was very kind.

However, the extension in Bergen was disappointing as the hotel was below the normal standard we have experienced in the past and the lack of a guided tour, again normally given, was disappointing.

We, however, will not let that spoil our holiday memories as Viking 'got it 100% right'. A big thank you for helping us emerge from the cocoon of Lockdown.

Cabin Review

Juliet looked after us excellently and we thought our cabin just right, everything and more was considered and thought about.
