Arrived at Cape Liberty around 12:15. Security lines (3) moved quickly and we were at the Suites check-in line in a few minutes, got our keys, and were off in the shuttle to the ship. Once onboard, photo was taken as cruise card was swiped, got welcome glass of champagne, and waited a few minutes for an elevator. Off to our cabin.

Had sky suite #6146 next to the penthouse suite and the dEcor matched the PH with darker woods than the other S1 cabins. Bathroom was large with a tub, shower and double sinks. Nice dark green marble. The cabin's closet was very small but we managed. I knew all of this ahead of time from reading other reviews here. Also had been alerted that there is an adjoining door to PH suite, and we did hear them talking and clanking silverware while they ate breakfast at their dining room table a few times. Fortunately they did not play piano or entertain loudly. Carpeting in our cabin was nice, but the dark wood furniture had a lot of nicks in it. Need a full length mirror in this cabin. Small fridge, flat screen tv, sofa opened up to a bed if needed. Large balcony with 2 chairs that recline, ottomans, and a round table with two chairs too. Met Rikki, our butler, who was great the entire cruise. He had lots of surprises for us and all were appreciated. The dining table note in our cabin showed we were assigned to late dining though we had asked for early dining (and called our TA to confirm twice). No worries though; Rikki got this changed for us. Seby our room steward was very good too.

The first night we had complimentary dinner in Normandie (all suites were offered this on this cruise). Lobster and appys were good, but I don't know why the steak was covered in gravy. Not needed. We didn't find it appealing enough to eat there again for $35 per person. The Celebrity-hosted Cruise Critic get-together on Monday in Revelations was very nice. The Cruise Director and a few others attended along with about 25 of the CC group. Was great to meet some of the people we'd been talking to online and discuss our plans.
