This was the first repositioning cruise for the Octantis and it was the first cruise ship to traverse the St. Lawrence Seaway is several years (due to Covid restrictions). The ship is a gem, hints of its bigger ocean Viking ships but also many different aspects. Food was as expected from Viking's ocean ships - the World Cafe was outstanding along with the many options - Mamsen's and the Grill. Cabin service was up to Viking standards - outstanding. The motorized window in the cabin was a nice feature - great for getting nice photos (steady platform for camera) including those of people lining the shore of the seaway to see the beautiful white ship glide by. The excursions were curtailed in a number of places but the ones we did take were good - especially the falconer and his hawks. Viking was very responsive to the issues that arose and compensated us for the problems that arose.

Cabin Review

Nordic Penthouse (with Balcony)

Cabin was great. Plenty of room and the bathroom was adequately sized.
