To whom it concerns, recently I completed this 4 night trip and it turned out to be a complete disappointment. The main reason for booking this cruise from the United States to London, England was to visit Stonehenge. I was informed on the third night of the four night cruise, that the excursion to Stonehenge was cancelled due to lack of interest of the majority of the attendees on the Celebrity Silhouette. This was a shocking and vastly disappointing experience for me, particularly because this was the only reason I chose to book this cruise. It is completely unacceptable to deny any paying customer who shelled out thousands of dollars to travel so far, and be so completely devastated with news of this sort. What was also particularly distressing was the fact that I inquired at the Customer Service desk about the itinerary for the Stonehenge excursion on the third night, and was told that there would be no trip to that destination (cancelled due to the inability to fill a sufficient number of seats in the tour bus). The cruise ship management did not find it important enough to make an announcement aboard ship that the excursion was cancelled, I discovered this on my own. The food was horrible (ex. I ordered a steak and received a hunk of beef that was carved in the shape of a steak) and I also ordered blueberry pancakes for breakfast and was presented with 3 cold pancakes with a lump of blueberry jam in the center of the top pancake. I am completely disappointed with all aspects of this cruise and demand at least a 50% refund of my expenditures for this once and a lifetime complete disappointment. My complaint to the Celebrity Engagement Center via email, prompted a response that offered a 100.00 credit on the next cruise with Celebrity, which was a complete insult. I will never sail with Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines again and neither should you.
