Ship launched end of last year. It looked like it had not been finished. The atrium was bare, no decorations or flowers. The sun areas had no statues or fountains, no ornamental features. Unlike other ships it didn’t have any nice paintings around the ship. Basically it looked bare and unfinished. Staff shortages everywhere, trying to get a drink in a bar was impossible, the staff serving food in the self service restaurant were untrained. The food was the worst we have ever encounter on a cruise ship. Poor choice and either over cooked or undercooked bland food. The entertainment was however excellent but that didn’t makeup for the shortcomings in food and service. The cut backs were all too evident in all areas around the ship. We have taken many cruises over the years but this trip has left us looking at alternative holiday venues. Certainly wouldn’t go with Princess again.
