The pre-departure and onboarding experience was amazing.
Princess does a great job of taking your money and communicating on what is needed prior to departure.
Prior to getting on the ship, the process was very streamlined and efficient.
Cabin Review
Room was fine. Had a bed, balcony, bathroom. It did everything it needed to do. The technology was a nice enhancement to get into the room.
Port Reviews
Glacier Bay
This port was cancelled due to the ships engine not preparing working and the boat needing to catch up time ... so they cancelled this wonderful stop versus a worthless stop in Victoria, BC, where we arrived after businesses had closed and had nothing really meaningful to do.
Icy Strait
Amazing views and tour from the cabin--highly recommend and the main reason for the cruise!!! AWESOME!!!
Juneau
Boat arrived late. But the whale watching tour was awesome and the city is cute for tourist. Decent value...correctly priced. Not overpaying and not underpaying for the whale watching company and charter tour to the boats.
Skagway
Great train ride tour up the mountain. City is super cute and the patrons of the city of Skagway are incredibly kind and polite and embrace the cruise tourists with open arms. Well worth the cost of the excursion and souvenirs.
Victoria
Boat arrived at 6:30pm. Local shops closed. Not anything meaningful to do and the tour we took was average at best. The description of the tour was a "double decker bus ride" and we wanted an open air, upstairs bus experience after sitting on a boat for over two days due to cancellation of the Glacier Bay stop, but the bus was a normal charter and one story all inside. Not worth the money spent at all. If you are going to cancel a stop, cancel this one and keep Glacier Bay!
