We just returned from our 7 day Alaska cruise on board eclipse, and we had an amazing time. Like everyone it’s been 2 years since we cruised and we had almost forgotten just how much we loved cruising on celebrity.
This was our first ‘cold’ cruise but we were exceptionally lucky and the weather was amazing. Yes breezy but Sunny, warm and exceptionally clear.
Celebrity has not lost its edge on service and standards and all staff and meals were exceptional. This was our 10th cruise and I think we are unusual in that we don’t book speciality dining, spa treatments or shop on board. Our pleasure is the cruise itself. We even actually prefer a balcony over the higher classes. This way we can afford several cruises a year.

Booked independent tour. Whale watching - well organised and saw mother and baby whales and bubble feeding.
Juneau
Booked independant tour but was very disappointed with company organisation - booked mendelam glacier and salmon bake
Ketchikan
Booked independent local firm. Bus tour of town plus guided tour of Saxman village. Quite good and interesting. Particularly wanted genuine totem poles of saxman
