EVERYTHING ON THE CRUISE FAR EXCEEDED OUR EXPECTATIONS. The ship was beautiful, service was better than outstanding, crew very friendly, always smiling (while they wore masks, you could see it in their eyes!!) Food excellent, very good entertainment, all excursions we enjoyed other than Cartagena and the Gold, Silver factory in Bergen. Cartagena not a good stop. The COVID protocol was not a problem and we totally understood their desire to make sure it was not a major problem. We met a former nurse who fell in some moderate seas. She had two black eyes and a few stitches in the forehead. She was blown away with the quality of heal care and the equipment on board. She said the ship was VERY well equipped and VERY happy with what she encountered. Loved the staff! Made the trip very enjoyable. Cruise Director excellent ( and has a very good voice). Spa, pools exercise equipment much more than adequate. We have already booked our next cruise. Cruised the Rhine River in 2018 and LOVED that cruise also. We are Viking clients for life!!! This is not a family cruise company which is what we wanted. I am sure if it was, I would rate that highly as well.
