We previously sailed from Amsterdam to Budapest on Ama Viola in 2019 and enjoyed it so much we wanted to take another cruise with Ama. Nikola was an excellent cruise manager for our trip. The ship's crew was consistently excellent with special kudos to Elena's beverage service.

Cruise highlights for us included Keukenhof Gardens, Kolsch beer tasting, the Moselle River portion, and Riquewihr. The post-cruise extension to Lucerne and Zurich was very enjoyable. Lucerne is so picturesque and had many riverside restaurants. Zurich had several great side trips, especially Rheinfall's boat rides, the Lindt Chocolate Museum, the FIFA Museum and the Zurich Zoo. Transportation around the Zurich area is very efficient with buses, trams and trains to take you everywhere.

When we took the required Covid test to be able to fly home my wife tested positive despite having no symptoms. That required us to stay an extra week at a different hotel. Cruise Manager Nikola helped us through the ordeal of relocating to another hotel and he gave us useful advice.
