I am in my early 50’s. Have been lucky to travel extensively . Have done 6 ocean cruises, many all inclusives and city travel. This was our first river cruise. We chose AMA as our travel agent recommended them due to their level of service, amenities and included tours. We chose the itinerary as we were able to see the Netherlands, Germany, France, Switzerland in one week. Wanted to see the castles along the Rhine Gorge. We also had a 3 day post cruise excursion to Lake Como , Italy . The itinerary did not disappoint.
SHIP
The ship is beautiful and modern. The staff were constantly cleaning. Loved the upper deck with lots of comfortable seating, walking track and small heated pool. It was a very chill vibe on board, you could hang out where ever you felt like it. Never felt crowded . We have 130 on this cruise . It was very impressive seeing the maneuvering to get through the locks. WIFI worked great . It truly is like a floating hotel. We never used the gym, massage or hair salon but heard good things about them

The cabin was just over 200 sq feet . Small but well laid out. We had a Juliet balcony and a small patio. We spent a lot of time out on our deck. Wonderful storage in the room, you could see a lot of thought went into making the most of the space. We were in cabin mid ship. Many at the back of ship complained of rattling in their cabins due to the vibration of the ship. Apparently this can happen when going against the current of the Rhine. We had no issue. The shower was modern with rain shower and massage wand. Great water pressure and lots of hot water. Counter space in the bathroom was good as well. Each room had a Mac Computer that can be used to charge your Apple Products and is also an information hub.
