We booked this sailing after having a 2020 and 2021 sailing canceled. The weeks leading up to the cruise were stressful with waiting for the Bermuda travel authorizations, Canada travel authorization, covid tests, and then a last-minute phone call (4PM on 06/03) from the cruise company alerting us to a weather change from a cruise to Bermuda to Canada (where the temps were in the low 60-degree range)! After all the work we put into booking this cruise and preparing our home arrangements, we could not cancel consider canceling it.
Although in the end all worked out well, we were faced additional stress in the embarkation process. Below are the Cons and Pros:
balcony was just perfectly located for us. We loved the access to the library and its comfortable couches and its bay window overlooking the Royal Promanade. The mattress was very very firm so I slept on a comfy king size pillow. Our room steward was the best! P.S. - also there was great storage.
The directions on the Cape Liberty website listed the incorrect name of the road that we were to make our turn on from 440 North. We lost 25 minutes finding our way to the terminal. Other than that, I do love the convenience of this terminal, its staff and the way it is set up.
