While the cruise was enjoyable many small things detracted from the experience. Some were no doubt due to Covid regulations but some seemed due to an economy drive such as the change from individual toiletries to large fixed dispensers with no conditioner or body lotion. Face cloths were also no longer provided. The cabin was clean and well serviced and the food was generally good, although there were less options for lunch in the restaurants. Service varied but I think there were issues with understaffing. The booking system for dinner and the theatre was confusing and did not seem to work half the time. I visited the Glass House a couple of times and that was excellent as always. There seemed to be fewer guest speakers and the entertainment programme was subject to last minute changes because of Covid. I chose the cruise for the itinerary so I was happy to visit such lovely places after a long gap. Some were over crowded, which marred the experience somewhat. Also over crowded were the sun decks. There seemed to be no attempts made to police the reserving of sun beds, which was a real problem. However all in all it was a good experience and I would go on a cruise on this ship again. ( This was a fourteen day cruise, not seven day. I couldn’t find an option for that.)

Cabin Review

I had a an inside cabin on C deck. There was plenty of room and the mirrors enhanced the light. There was plenty of storage and the cabin steward kept the cabin very clean and tidy. Some passengers complained at the lack of a turn down service but personally it did not worry me.

Port Reviews

Corfu

I chose to walk around Corfu town by myself and had a coffee on the Liston. I found a museum with some delightful gardens, so a very pleasant and relaxing experience

Dubrovnik

Because I had visited before I elected to wander around by myself. I was pleasantly surprised that the town was not too crowded so their attempts to curtail the number of cruise ships seems to have paid off.

Architecturally fascinating with plenty of shops and restaurants, it was a good visit.

Split

I opted for for a walking tour of Split. It was extremely interesting and the guide was excellent. Also it was not too long and allowed time to look around independently.
